The Texas Credit Union League (TCUL) currently is seeking to fill a position for a Credit Union Compliance Specialist in the Dallas area. This position is responsible for working with client Credit Unions in developing and maintaining a compliance program. Duties of this position will include developing and reviewing compliance procedures; evaluating and recommending changes to procedures, forms, etc.; and working with credit union management to coordinate the implementation of new laws and regulations affecting credit unions, all in an effort to improve or maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
A Bachelors Degree in business, finance, education or equivalent and three years experience in credit union or other financial institution operations is required; compliance certification is highly desired. Extensive knowledge of the credit union system and federal & state regulations affecting the credit union movement, along with, a thorough knowledge of Credit Union operations is essential. This position will travel extensively.
